Gossip, at the village common well.

Original by Willy Bastianz. Present version revived and sung by Falan Andrea.

The song recalls the morning ritual of bathing and washing of linen+ and collecting of fresh water for the household from the village public well. But its most important function was for the gathered females to exchange gossip as beatifully narrated in the song. Enjoy the music and words.
